    These new paintings seem to emerge from a different threshold of thought and feeling than previous paintings. I love their mobility and spaciousness. The forms are present yet moving, shifting. Vived coloration resonates with early 19th century abstractions. Number 5 is moody, evocative of twilight with those shots of pink that presage dawn. Congratulations.
