PORTRAITS

Beginning in 2024.

I started doing these portraits from photographs on 8 x 10 inch readymade canvases just for fun.  It gives me a different way to work with paint and a different focus. Generally I give them to the person if they want them. Some people paid for theirs but that is completely up to the person and not a requirement. The one of Lilliana was done without my ever having met her. Going forward I only want to do them of people I know. Am working on two more now (4/2024).  Just for fun. As of 8/24 I am taking a pause in the cycle. Some of the Portraits will be exhibited in Sept 2024 at Greenkill Gallery in Kingston, NY.
